At the conclusion, you and your staff will have an in-depth knowledge of modeling and producing a project in Revit, have your office standards and templates established, and your cost for the transition will be absorbed as part of a normal project fee.

When switching into Revit, a paradigm shift takes place. As design professionals, our training has been to create 2-dimensional drawings and schedules which need to be coordinated but are independent from each other. For many of us, when we transitioned from paper to CAD , we were able to use the same thought processes, simply giving up our pencils for a mouse or a digitizer puck. Moving to Revit, the thought process changes from creating 2-dimensional orthographic projections to constructing a virtual 3-dimensional building and learning to create and manipulate information in a relational database.
